bitches and bastards.

need I say more?
it seems as if some people just either 1) don't grow the FUCK up or 2) two-faced

1) Immaturity
I know I'm 'mature' enough to probably judge someone's level of maturity, but for this one example, I'm pretty sure I can.
Taunting someone who is immature and throwing back a battery case he throws at you is definitely an act a 5 year old would do. Dude, you are his senior. Can you please act like one?
You don't call a junior useless. Ever. That's just demoralizing. You're supposed to train them.
I didn't HATE you this much until recently.
If you THINK you're the BEST then go ahead and think that way but boasting about it won't make it anymore real. Skills, yeah sure you've got them but attitude? No.
FUCK NO.

2) Two-faced
I have a personal hatred towards people who are two-faced.
You're one person to a group of friends and another to another group.
It sucks even more if you can't pull if off well and get exposed.
I'm not the only one thinking that.

Yes,
I'm a bitch.
I speak what's on my mind.
At least everyone sees this side of me.
I don't have a second face to "please" others with.
Deal.
With.
It.

grow up

they say we need to grow up.
they say it comes with age.
they say it's time we mature.

that's what they said.

but when do we actually grow up?
do we grow up when we celebrate our birthday every year?
do we grow up whenever we get hurt?
do we grow up when we finally start being selfish or selfless?

who is to tell us who is a grown up and who isn't?
who is tot tell us who is wiser than who?

wisdom doesn't come with age.
wisdom doesn't come with words.
wisdom comes through experience.
wisdom comes through knowledge of the unknown.
wisdom comes through actions and teachings.

that is wisdom.
so do we gain wisdom as we grow older?
do we gain wisdom as we grow up?
do we gain wisdom by living?

are we more than what our age says about us?
are we more than what life gives us?
are we more than what they label us?

maturity.
are selfish people matured?
or are selfless people matured?

i wonder.

I am tannnnned LOL

Went down to Sentosa on Sunday with Yunsil! :3 It was kind of impromptu and I had to borrow yunsil's shades... 'cos I lost my nice purple ones!

After sentosa and unintended tanning under the crazy hot sun~ I became chocolate-colored LOL.

But I guess the sun and clear skies did help me think some things through. Still gotta find answers to some of the questions I have in life though.

Tied a fishtail braid originally although a bit messy 'cos I didn't bring any clips or anything but weather was too hot so tired everything up in the end. LOL.

Sunday was a great day by the beach... if I ignore all the hot bods I saw that made me depressed and jealous -.-

boyfriends

I got inspired through Yawen's tweets a while ago about how people are complaining about how horrible their "other half" is and how their relationships are just going down the drain.

Quote:

Hearing people talk about how terrible relationships are just makes me want to get a boyfriend and prove them wrong. But then like, man, life is so much simpler this way, why upset the equilibrium? I don't NEED a boyfriend. It's no survival requirement. And because I'm better at living life than everybody else, I'm single. It's not being lonely, it's being smart. And better. #impeccablelogic

Firstly, relationships can only be terrible when neither one loves each other enough to overcome their differences and quarrels.  So long as both parties are willing to give in and understand each other well enough, I don't see why you would complain about your relationship. Sure, we all have our troubles when it comes to relationships and it's never always a smooth ride. But, if faced well, it would be a great opportunity to strengthen the bond you have between each other. Once you complain, it's like saying you've given up on trying to salvage the relationship and you're seeing it as more of a burden than a lovely experience.

Secondly, a lot of people enter relationships because they "NEED" a boyfriend/relationship. You don't NEED a boyfriend/relationship to live a proper life. In fact, if you don't handle it properly, it'll just screw your life up. So before entering a relationship, ask yourself if you LOVE the other person and are willing to spend a lot of time, money and feelings on him/her. If you're not even willing to sacrifice time you're supposed to spend with friends and probably, studies, and go through all their moodswings or bad attitudes then no, you don't love him/her. Many don't understand this point and rush into a relationship because "everyone's in one, I should be in one too". Once you get that mentality, I'm sorry to say but your relationship will be more of a burden to you. Let the complaints begin.

Thirdly, it's important to realize that lonely isn't always worse off. Being lonely (without a partner in life) only means that you're smart enough to wait for that special someone that will make the relationship the best one you'll have, make a relationship that will stick with you forever because of the fond memories that you'll share together. Waiting for that special someone makes you smarter than those who get together with people that aren't right for them.

Of course, this is all my two cents.
Whether you agree or not, is not my problem.
